Pickering Public Library Project Concept ImageWelcome

On October 11, 2018, a new vision for Pickering’s City Centre was revealed, which will see the creation of a brand new, vibrant, sustainable, accessible, and bustling downtown from what is currently a blank slate. The City of Pickering, Pickering Town Centre (PTC), Cushman & Wakefield, and CAPREIT announced a partnership that would see the redevelopment of lands to showcase an exciting array of new, state-of-the-art buildings and facilities, including an arts centre, brand new central library, a combined seniors & youth centre, three condominium towers, and a hotel, which will all be seamlessly connected via activated and pedestrian-friendly walkways.
