James Oliver Rigney, Jr. (a.k.a. Robert Jordan), famous author of fantasy fiction most notably for his series entitled "The Wheel of Time", died on September 16th of a rare blood disease. He was 58.

Mr. Rigney also wrote the Fallon Trilogy under the pen name of Reagan O'Neal. He was also responsible for writing several of the new Conan the Barbarian books including Conan the Destroyer, Conan the Magnificent, Conan the Triumphant, and Conan the Victorious (Compilation of three books in one volume).
