This is the second book by Linda Bailey, illustrated by Bill Slavin, about a dog named Stanley. In the last book Stanley was left home by his people too much and discovered the joy of laying on the couch, eating food out of the fridge, dancing to music and having a huge doggy party. Now Stanley is back and he is in for another adventure. This time Stanley finds himself bored in his backyard and while sniffing around discovers a hole by the fence. Like all dogs that find a hole Stanley begins to dig and soon finds himself on the other side of the fence. And what does a dog do when he finds himself alone, without his people or a leash?
