Legendary Italian Tenor Luciano Pavarotti Dies of Cancer at 71
Epic opera singer Luciano Pavarotti, whose eloquent voice and classic style made him one of the most famous opera singers to have ever lived, has died of cancer at his home in Modena, Italy on September 6th. He was 71.
Both solo and beside his two tenor friends, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras, he performed to packed audiences at famous opera houses and venues all over the world. Free Management Training for Small Businesses
The Pickering Public Library has recently been awarded a provincial grant in order to expand our service to the business community and to create a management training program and self-study collection free of barriers. With this grant, the Library has arranged to have instructors from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) deliver FREE management training courses for Pickering small buisinesses at the Pickering Central Library.
