People who have difficulty reading print due to a visual, physical or learning disability can now have access to Canada's largest collection of alternative format books and on-line resources. The Pickering Public Library has partnered with the CNIB to offer access to the CNIB Circulating Library of over 80,000 titles in multiple formats.
We are also pleased to offer a rotating collection of DAISY Talking Books that are available in the library. You may also want to try one of our DAISY players.
Pickering Library clients with print disabilities can now register to access the CNIB Library Services. Materials can be ordered and picked up at your local Library branch.
