March 8th 2017 - On Thursday March 2nd, Taha Ghayyur, writer, public speaker and community organizer offered an engaging and inspiring discussion on the history of Muslim culture in Canada, including the long-standing, influential presence Canadian Muslims have had in our country and Islamaphobia in the current socio-political climate. A lively discussion followed, where participants were given the opportunity to ask questions, offer their opinions and discuss how all Canadians can find common ground in these turbulent times.
