The New Seven Wonders of the World

I was waiting for my bus this morning and saw an article in the local Toronto 24 Hours newspaper on the current international voting for the New Seven Wonders of the World campaign. This ties into our Summer Reading Club theme, Lost Worlds.

Our trading card this week for the club, in case you have not been in yet to get it, is Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu, the Great Wall of China, and the Colosseum in Rome are the top three contenders in the international vote. To learn more about Machu Picchu come in to the library and sign up for the reading club to get a the Machu Picchu trading card!
