Most cultures have employed beads for personal adornment. Archaeological records show that people made and used beads as long as 5,000 years ago. Come explore this ancient art and craft a bracelet or necklace with local business Inspired by Beads. Space is limited. Registration is required.

Mask-Making Workshop

At the Petticoat Creek Branch: Thursday, October 21st at 7:00 p.m.

Masks have been used since antiquity for both ceremonial and practical purposes. They are a familiar part of many ceremonies, rituals and festivals. Come and experience an art that has been part of ceremony and theatre throughout history by making a masquerade mask of your own.

WizKids After-School Club (8 to 11 years)

Computer Training
Program - Computer Training

Group computer classes for adults are offered at the Central Library this Fall. A variety of topics will be covered for both the new and more advanced computer user. Registration starts on Monday, August 30th at
9:30 a.m.

A valid Pickering Public Library card is required for all computer training sessions.
