Grandview Children’s Centre provides a broad range of services for children and young adults with disabilities in the Durham Region. Volunteers can assist supervising children, providing clerical support or help with special projects.

The Ajax-Pickering Health Centre is one site in the larger Rouge Valley Health System which strives to provide a full range of health care services for the residents of West Durham. Volunteering and fundraising is done through the Auxiliary to the Ajax-Pickering General Hospital. Student volunteers, ages 14 and over, can assist in various areas of the hospital.

St. John’s Ambulance is dedicated to the service of others through First Aid services and CPR Training. Through their youth volunteer program, ages 11 to 18 plus, can get involved providing community care or patient care services in their community.
