"May the hand of the Creator shelter you, and the last embrace of the Mother welcome you home"

Yesterday was a very bad day for me. My 4th Xbox360 died. While not as bad as having 7 or 11 die, my rage was a thing of horrific splendor, cold, crystalline, and sharp.

That was until I read that Robert Jordan had died, which put things in perspective. Robert Jordan was one of my favourite Authors going through high school and university. I have been reading the Wheel of Time books for 17 years now. I was always deathly afraid he would die before he finished. But, the fact that an Author I really liked has died, is inconsequential next to the fact that he was also a husband and family man. The loss of my Xbox360 seems to really pale in comparison.

Well, I hope he is in whatever afterlife he believed in, playing on all 4 of my Xbox360s and waiting to explain everything to me when I hunt him down and shake him till he makes all the dangling plot lines congeal.
